FAQ

Q: Can I just give you my information and you can make me a card?
A: No. Legally, I can not edit, add or remove any of the information on any type of ID card without permission from the issuing authority. If you have any changes to make you will have to go through the issuing agency. The only thing I am able to do is print the exact image of the card you were originally issued.

Q: I can not access the files of my ID, can I send you a scanned copy of my card(s)?
A: Yes! Please read this before scanning.

Q: What do you do with my info and how is it stored and protected?
A: Absolutely no files or card information will ever be stored once printing is complete unless specifically requested on the upload page. The only information that is kept is a generic transaction description for tax purposes. That is all stored on the square secure servers.

Q: How do you keep my files and information secure while you have it?
A: We have a few protection redundancies in place. Your card files are temporarily stored on a dedicated stand alone encrypted drive, and the files are digitally shredded immediately after printing is complete using a dedicated file destroyer. Our computers themselves are behind a series of firewalls, I also have anti-spoofing email protections in place and several other security measures (intentionally vague).

Q: Is my information sold to any 3rd parties?
A: NEVER. At no time will your information be collected and distributed to anyone, ever.

Q: Can you fix my picture?
A: Legally No, I can not change anything on any cards. For legality and to keep your card valid, they must be printed by me exactly the way they were issued to you by the issuing agency.

Q: My card is pretty beat up, can you repair and print it?
A: Short answer, yes. If there are marks on it that weren't there when it was issued, I can remove them. I can only restore them to the way they were initially issued to you. I can not add, remove, edit or change anything at all, including the photo, that was not there originally. See samples of our document reconstruction HERE

Q: My card is beat up, can you look at it before I order to let me know how it will print?
A: Yes, of course! Feel free to send us a scan of it in an email and I’ll tell you if it’s worth it or not.

Q: I don’t have a scanner, can I just send you a picture?
A: Pictures really don’t print well. Reflections and skewing makes photos not good for card printing. It is best to use a flatbed scanner, or a scanner app on your phone. I recommend the free app called 'Genuis Scan'. It will straighten the skewing for the most part, just try to keep your phone as flat as possible while scanning. There are more scanning tips HERE.

Q: The tracking information is saying my order is in a different state, did you send it to the right address?
A: Yes, it is being shipped to whatever shipping address you entered at checkout. From time to time the post office may send items to different sorting facilities around the country (TX, CO, TN, FL, etc). It will make it back to NJ eventually. Shipping can take anywhere from 2-15 days to arrive. 95% of orders arrive within 2-4 days. We have no control over the post office.
