PLEASE NOTE If your order includes a YELLOW FID card (pre-2021):

  • The OLD YELLOW FID cards (pre-2021) may not be accepted by all FFL dealers unless they are on the original paper, therefore we will not be producing those to avoid any legal issues for FFLs as well as you and I until we get clarification from the state. Getting a new white card is easy, instructions on how to do that can be found in our FAQ section. 
  • The NEW WHITE FID cards ARE 100% accepted by all FFLs as well as law enforcement if they are printed on plastic. 
  • This ONLY pertains to older yellow FID cards. All other cards we print are valid and legal on plastic. 

 

Thickness

The printable card files downloaded directly from the state portal will result in the best possible print. HERE are instructions on how to locate and retrieve the original files. If you can no longer access the printable card file, a photo or screenshot may also be used as long as the resolution is good enough. You may forward the approval email(s) from the state or the files directly to chad@njlibertycards.com if you are having trouble with the upload feature.
