Your NJ Firearms ID card thermally embedded onto a plastic credit card or laser etched onto an anodized aluminum card.
METAL CARDS:
For metal cards: Only FID cards WITHOUT your picture on it can be etched onto metal. If your FID card was issued with your picture on it, it can only be made in plastic.
Pre 2021 Yellow FID Cards:
The OLD YELLOW cards (pre-2021) may not be accepted by all FFL dealers unless they are on the original paper, so we will not be producing those to avoid any legal issues for FFLs as well as you and I. Getting a new white card is easy, instructions on how to do that can be found in our FAQ section.
The NEW WHITE FID cards ARE 100% accepted by all FFLs state wide as well as law enforcement if they are printed on plastic.
This only pertains to the old yellow FID cards, all other cards on our site are valid and legal to be converted to plastic.

A must get, I've gotten both a plastic and metal one now. They are both worth the money and it's way better to have than the nj print out the state gives you

Paper or Plastic?
I ordered palstic FID cards simply because plastic lasts a whole lot better than paper in one's storage be it wallet, pocketbook, etc. I was very happy with the cards when they arrived. The order process was very easy and the cards came quickly as advertised. These cards are great! If you get one you will not be disappointed!
